Much better, I really was never that bad off but I got distracted with a bunch of shit and catching up with school and whatnot and dropped off the earth for awhile...

That's cool they're still around. I heard very recently one of the companies that maintained castles in Japan was forced to close it's doors after like 400 years. What's amazing is that after Sekigahara Tokugawa made it illegal for new castles to be built and ordered all castles to be destroyed, except one in each district to ask as local government offices. They constructed over 2000 castles between 1500 and 1600 and just as fast there were less than 200 standing. And those guys were working on maintaining them ever since. Very sad world we live in.
When the Japanese were still fighting the shit out of each other, the nobility or actual Samurai rarely rarely used them. 90% of the time muskets were relegated to Ashigaru/peasants and none nobility. After the Tokugawa shogunate was established, Tokugawa banned anybody BUT the nobility from possessing firearms. Quite the turnaround. Japan has forbade individual ownership of firearms since the mid 1600's. Pretty strange when you think about it. After Tokugawa was well established, he confiscated about 80% of the firearms in the country and shut down most of the gun ''factories'' and only allowed two families to produce them for all of Japan. What's very cool is those families STILL make matchlocks pretty much the exact way they were in the 15 and 1600s. Cool stuff.
Tanegashima`s freak me out because they promote the `lazy`samurai. Let me tell you, it`s ideas like giving samurai`s guns that is making the future generations into couch potatoes.
