I actually played through Jewel Master the other night. Neat game with some monster parallax.
I stopped by TRU and used the rest of my birthday money from my wife for:
- Burnout 3, Xbox
- Bicycle Casino, Xbox (I'm addicted to blackjack!)
- THUG 2, Xbox. Eh, it was only $15.

What a score, Vicman. Hahaha.. in the auction description the Master System is billed as a used Dreamcast. Oopsie.
I myself picked up World Heroes 2 for SNES, cart only, for $5.25 USD shipped. Mudman!
-
Faery Tale Adventure, 3.50.
Is this very good?
-
The Faery Tale Adventure has a certain Amiga charm.
Stopped by the Value Village today and came across a Sega Classics edition Golden Axe lacking instructions ($3.99) and a 42-in-1 bootleg NES cart ($5.99). The pirate multicart is pretty neat.. 42 early Famicom releases with bungled titles, like Ramio Bros.!

Classic Gaming Expo 2K5, Day One
By far the highlight of my acquisitions was the Super 8 Tri-Star, which I got for $50. This little baby plugs into an SNES's cartridge slot and allows you to play SNES, Super Famicom, NES, and Famicom games through it. The price I paid for it wasn't amazing (though I'm certainly not complaining), but these things are little-known and very hard to find.
Other than that, I picked up the following games:
Ultimate Qix for Genesis (complete) - $30
Zoom! for Genesis (complete) - $10
DecapAttack for Genesis (sealed) - $15
Light Crusader for Genesis (sealed) - $20
Flink for Sega CD (complete) - $15
Heart of the Alien for Sega CD (complete) - $15
Clash at Demonhead for NES (loose) - $5
Super Tennis for SFC (loose) - $5
Super Mario Bros. for FC (loose) - $5
Resident Evil 2 for Game.com (loose) - $5
These were from official vendors and the swap meet. Regrettably, I left before the auction took place, mainly because I spent all my cash.
