I like this alot, Only thing I would have liked more is if the case were molded to look like the old pics of that sega "neptune" that were floating around. it was sweet because it looked have genesis half saturn.

Yeap, I'm sure many of us would love to have that original Neptune system shell :sonic: ....Apparently, there are only two known to exist, the one at CGE, and in the Japan Sega museum...

For me it was just my Genesis 2, I ruled everything else out. My cart is good, my 32X is good, but KC wouldn't work until I got that model 1 cable and used it with my HDG model 1. I think some later Genesis 2's lost compatibility as part of the chip consolidation or something. Who knows. The shittiest thing is that it worked perfectly on my then co-worker's model 2. I think the model 2 I have just sucks all around, even the reset button was broken and the cart slot tends to be loose and require re-insertion for thinner ROM boards to work. One of these days I'll come across a loose model 2 in good shape and I'll pick it up. On that note, how about people post up what revisions of model 2's they have that are confirmed to work with KC.

The 32X runs pretty hot even in normal trim. If you touch the top of a Genesis after playing the 32X for a couple hours (especially under the 32X), it's pretty warm. Putting the 32X inside the Genesis could probably cause a freeze or glitching after a while.

I wonder if its possible to use a Saturn's case...you have tons of extra room and..seal the cd lid down and cut the new cart slot or maybe use existing..That would be a great neptune case....I can picture it now :p

I think you could use a genesis top add some molding to it and a saturn bottom, mold the the 2 together.
