Isn't Danny Devito technically a dark tinted person (He is is in that show right, or maybe I am confused)? I guess that chick who looks stoned is alright, kinda too ordinary looking though. She aint no Jessica Alba tho. Man I smoked a joint and watched Stephen King's Cats Eye last night. That movie is crazy.
I think the author's intention was to point out that there are many, many, many talented people in Hollywood who aren't white - they just weren't given a fair mention in the Vanity Fair article. She even threw out a few of her own nominations, like Uhura from last year's Star Trek film.Quote:

Pretty much my opinion of people who whine about how we aren't absurdly politically correct. For example, now the school board in my mom's teaching district wants to ban To Kill A Mockingbird because people are complaining it's racist and "colonialist" because it has a white person (SHOCK! HORROR!) doing something to help a black man and because of racist language (USED BY THE VILLAIN). It's like all these people do is want to play victim...

I haven't read this thread, but whenever someone starts a sentence with, "I'm not racist, but...," they invariably follow it up with something incredibly racist. Maybe that's just my experience though.
