That's not the reason for the change in tone of the show. I'm probably not allowed to say why (I'll just assume I'm not) but we'll just leave it at James has no time. Like... NO TIME.

The audience would never accept it no matter who was chosen. The ONLY way it could work is if James had someone else who has been on the show for a long time and then that person's role slooowly got bigger as his slooowly got smaller. Besides the character and/or the show really doesn't need to last forever.

I'm actually going by stuff that's been brought up via conversations on different Cinnemassacre videos, so nothing that I've mentioned in inherently untrue. They have also mentioned his crunch for time, as well as some of his personal issues over the years. If you do have some "inside info" that you haven't been specifically allowed to disclose, it would be best to let him/them handle that.

People say these kinds of things all of the time, but no one truly knows. Sometimes playing it too safe leads to failure.

Am I saying that I disagree with you? Not necessarily, but they'll never know unless they at least test the water. His main audience may have mixed opinions, but a new audience may emerge. Look at all the people that hate Mike and Ryan, and yet they continue to release episodes.

he still makes fantastic videos like the genesis vs snes video where he comments about his videos he made as a child. hilarious stuff imo. he just needs to step away from the angry person, because the games he gets legitimately mad about (like darkwing duck and jekyll and hyde) have all been covered pretty much, or the games so bad he can't contain his laughter anymore like big rigs.

Agree with this spot on post. And while I love the Genesis VS SNES video very much, the console spec pic depicting the Genesis only had one strength against SNES always grinds my gears (when it's the total opposite. SNES in that example only had one advantage over the Genesis). Still, not enough to prevent me from enjoying the rest of the episode, it's one of my fave.

Again I much prefer these type of videos, as I am kinda tired of his avgn character, like that charlie's angels vid, I can only hear someone say ass so much.
But even in the video power/nick arcade vid theres a part he uses the avgn voice. I just like chill James Rolfe more than his avgn characater.

Also that tattoo is hideous and does not fit him at all lol. Also really don't care for him shilling a modern game at the start of the Charlie's Angels vid.
