$290? More like $50 to $70 from what I've seen. Times must really be bad then for the game, maybe you.
I only say that because like three years ago the game was under $100. o_0
I'm not sure what it was worth a few ago years on Ebay, but the price Blur_Sotong is asking for it is lower than what the sellers on Ebay want now.
I wasn't trying to be rude, so I apologize. But I've seen it for $50 to $70 before on ebay and Yahoo Auctions Japan.
Yahoo Auctions Japan is going to be much lower than eBay most of the time. Just like how Radiant Silvergun is like an R1-R2 in Japan and here it goes for $180.
Great... I didn't mean to derail this guys thread. -_-
I have to agree with baloo! Yahoo japan will be cheaper because your average Japanese gamer can hunt down a rare gem on the local scene as we do here in the states. Dracula X (turbo duo) has always been in high demand outside of Japan. However, it is a very common title. If blue wanted to sell a copy of Daytona USA for the Saturn disc only in fair condition for $700.00, it is his right as a member of our family to do so without someone crapping on his thread. It got a wee bot personal when you made mention of him having hard times Dave. you also have to take into account the fact that alot of collectors are sleeping on auctions due to hard times. So now and then a high priced game will be gotten on the cheap. So now that brother David J. extended the olive branch, our bro Blur can get on track to finding an awesome home for his beloved Super Tempo!
on a off note..the game looks fun from youtube videos.. never knew it existed until now.
I love the artwork! :D
Personally, I thought this game was terrible. That aside, the only copy I could find was in "acceptable" condition on Amazon.jp and it was about $120 after conversion.
So, considering his is in excellent condition with spine, I'd say that $200-$250 isn't too hard to swallow.
I liked this game a lot. So much, in fact, that I did a complete hands-on of it. Look for it tomorrow!
And yeah, his asking price isn't that bad at all.
I don't know the print run on it, but it could very well be lower than that of PDS...those end-of-life released games tend to have pretty low print runs, which is why they're usually the rarest or most expensive games for each system.
