Who makes the best beat em ups?

I figure Sega (SOR, GA, Alien Storm) Capcom (Final Fight, Alien vs Predator, Punisher) and Konami (TMNT, X-Men, Simpsons), are the main contenders. What's your opinion?

If its in the Arcade I'll go with Capcom. They made Final Fight and about 8 games based off the same engine that all play just as well. Konami would have to be a close second with TMNT and the Simpsons. Sega did Golden Axe and not much else I like.

For consoles I would pick Sega.

SEGA as i think Bare Knuckle 2&3 wipe the floor with Final Fight IMO but if your talking 1on1 then its Capcom. (I voted capcom)

I'd go with Capcom. Final Fight 1 and 3, Alien vs. Predator, Captain Commando, The Punisher and Knights of the Round. Classics

Banpresto, Denjin Makai 1 (Ghost Chaser) and Denjin Makai 2 are both great brawlers, DM2 features the best combo system ever seen in this kind of game.

Sega, then Capcom.

Sega - Streets of Rage 2

Capcom - Final Fight

Sega - Programmed Final Fight for Sega CD.

Sega wins.

I went with Seag because of SoR 2 mostly. and IMHO Final Fight 1 is boring as hell and cheap.

I voted Sega cause Streets of Rage and Golden Axe games on Genesis are AWESOME!

For the consoles its Sega w/o a doubt but overall Capcom has produced the absolute greatest beat em up in Shadows over Mystaria. It's the only one where u can actually block something that never is seen in beat em ups. And AvP is great becasuse of the variety of moves you have.

I picked Konami since arcade TMNT, and Simpsons were just rape.

Console wise, Sega, no doubt.

Wow, I totally forgot about TMNT, even though it's my favorite Beat-Em-Up series.

I'll stick with SEGA though, especially for consoles.

How on Earth is Technos not given consideration?
