A. like, fiction? ugh, do. not. want. "recreational" reading is downright painful IMO. I read short informative stuff online all the time, but the idea that Moby Dick=fun does not compute. Maybe it's because I'm too used to information overload and I can't multi-task when I read and it bugs me. Maybe when I'm old I'll be able to tolerate recreational reading.
As for "living life," that's what I meant. You can play games and not play them ALL of the time. Contrary to what the size of my collection would insist, I rarely play games for more than 1-2 hours a day.
B. That's a pretty common attitude unfortunately. I used to be that way to an extent: whenever a new system came out, I wouldn't touch my older one more than 2-3 times a year.
Someone at work with a PS3 was talking about the God of War games and asking about them b/c God of War III is coming out and a guy at Gamestop suggested the first 2 to him. At first he was like "they're for PS2, right? I can't play that crap anymore," but then I told him about the PS3 hi-def re-release and he was like "oh, OK, I'll have to check it out then." REALLY?
Gameplay comes far before graphics, especially now that I've gotten the "OMGZ, TEH GRAPHICS!" out of my system.
