Who cares about a high end pc being more powerful i cant think of one games graphics that look better than something we have seen on ps3/360 have you? And i dont think there is anything wrong with gamepads. Try using a keyboard for a fighting game and see how well you do. And fps play fine on consoles not as well as pc controls but it isnt difficult to use.

I never said, there is something wrong with gamepads, I like
gamepads and use one with my PC. They just don't work for
ego-shooters. I know, it is possible to get used to it. But you
will never ever achieve the speed and accuracy of an optical
mouse with a decent m-pad. A long-time Counter-Strike player
and/or TO:Crossfire player can own anyone, really anyone
if he only can play with a mouse against gamepad players.
Gamepads are good for racing, platforming, some action games,
basically everything except ego-shooters.
talking about dont notice lower quality textures on a tv? i have a big hd tv its the other way round small pc monitors would cover up worse graphics and yes my sofa is directly facing my tv. i will grant you gta 4 slows down on 360 compaired to the ps3/pc versions. However didnt the pc version come out months after the console versions? so they certainly had time to iron it out. Plus there really isnt anything on pc thats better than graphics on game consoles, so that makes the more powerful hardware just a waste of money until the games start to look better which wont be until the end of this generation, and by that time consoles will be much cheaper anyway. You are right that a gamepad really isnt as good even with experience.
Turning the tables, I'd imagine that someone who's been playing Halo since 2004 would similarly 'own' a CounterStrike player if he were handed a pad and told to shoot the other Xbox guys - which is why your argument doesn't really prove one controller over another (even if that were possible).Quote:

That depends on the game. Doom 3 on a 360 (pff, lol) does not look nearly as good as it does on PC... same goes for Bishock, Fallout 3, the list goes on and on. There are hundreds of Console original titles that get ported to PC with higher resolution textures, working V-Sync, and working AA, and sometimes even with added Single Player content (Fable, any of the Tony Hawk games).
A. It doesn't, lol.... look up Direct X 10, dumbshit. they're "so much more expensive".. lol.. how much does it cost for a Hard Drive for a 360 or a P3 (look it up)... the hardware is overpriced for Console gear, you've got it backwards.

For FPSs, everything is. I'll murder 5 gamepad players at the same time in an FPS with my KB & M.. all day long.
Fighting games are designed for Joysticks and Gamepads, FPSs are not.
