Wait, this looks like it works well. That isn't right...

Probably not, but that's more of an Apple thing than an XBOX thing (MPAA and RIAA make sure DRM restrictions are out the wazoo. Did you know Apple pays the RIAA every time they sell an iPod/iPhone because they allegedly enable piracy?)
You could put your music on a flash drive and bring it over or alternatively just hook up your iPhone to a stereo. I don't see why you would need to hook your iphone up specifically.
I suspect that presentation was total bullshit. Every demo I've seen involves 1 person (or perhaps a couple stationary people on the sides) in a special room/environment. I'm telling you all, Natal is going to blow. hard.
This is weird, just the other day Steve Ballmer was pretty clear that he didn't want to follow-up on the same trend as Sony. In other words, he'd clearly stated that there won't be a slim because Microsoft had decided that the next "Xbox" will be not just an aesthetic change to the one we already have, but a complete re-modeling of the internal hardware.
That being said, it's no surprise to me that a major company might do this, though. He may just have been teasing us, after all. Now I'm starting to have a feeling that Natal won't be just an accessory. You'll have to buy this "slim" model to get your hands on it.

...Not that I'm planning to get my hands on it anytime soon, though. ;) I don't even have a 360 yet.
I wish I never bought my 360. I never really used it in 2 years.
Knowing Microsoft they'll put a solid metal wall right above the fan.
you sir are correct
1)once again tipical microsoft bash sony, and then go and do the exact same thing.
2)As for buying a new console to get natal im starting to think you are on to something this would also be tipical microsoft, and I for one will not buy one, not untill I get a used one years from now just to throw in my collection that is.
3)dont do it
Haha. Indeed. That's the current-gen console wars, I'd say.
I agree with you. I might just do the same thing you're planning to do, buy a used one down the line just to recap on whatever great exclussive I may have missed. My prerogative is: If 5 years down the line I can find a working 360, then it has either been modded to work well, or it's amongst the less than 1% rarity that didn't red-ring in the end.;)
Looks like a Mini-ITX board to me, and whats with the coolermaster fan? XD
Ohwell, It's about damn time they finally decide upon a slimmed down Xbox 360. I thought they would have never done it. Hopefully it will kill off that fearsome RRoD once and for all. I might buy it one day and sell off my launch 360 that lacks a HDMI port. It never RRoDDed yet!
Well, assuming the Fab process on all current 360's are still at 65nm, maybe shrinking that down to 45nm and the combination of the Xenon/Xenos into one ASIC chip (like the EE+GS in slim PS2s) should reduce heat and power usage. If the heat problem couldn't be cured, they would never have thought of shrinking down the 360 in the first place.

Rumored $149 summer price cut? Seems reasonable.
I really hope they manage to fix it though, There's a couple of 360 games that I'd love try out.
but i refuse to buy a console that has such a high chance of dying in the first year.
I don't expect my stuff to live forever, but if you treat your consoles carefully they should at least last 20 years with normal use.
So have we posted links to the concept yet?
