Reasons Not to buy Sonic the Hedgehog 4

I like Minverva Mink, just not enough to talk about her.
I think I've only talked about Fifi, Rogue, and Rouge (and now I've mentioned Psylocke as well)

I do believe I've talked about my wife more than all of them combined - so long as we don't count the fact that my sig is in every post I make.

I don't really mind rouge one way or the other... actually I didn't really mind Shadow in SA2 in the way the overall plot worked, but since then it's been rather redundant. (I found both rouge and Shadow rather annoying in Heroes, though that game was a bit annoying in general, so that's not saying too much)

Again I don't mind the character (actually I found knuckles more annoying in both SA games -Amy probably moreso, though in SA1 she was a main/playble character so...)
I didn't really mind the emerald hunting stages in SA2, some were a bit annoying, but decent fun overall.

If STI had gone through with Peter Morawiek's SatAM based sonic game there'd be a lot more charaters too. ;) Though possibly more arguable how useless. (particularly for fans of the show -for the time- or comic -now)

I was pretty sure her breasts had some bounce physics in SA2, or if not SA2:B

Ivy Valentine and Claire Redfield are pretty nice too...



IMHO Knuckles was OK.
But they've just totally ruined him and he'll never be worth anything, it would have been better if he never existed.

Shadow worked in SA2, and yea, he's been terrible since.

This is one reason Sonic Unleashed was so good...no crappy new character ruining everything - just Sonic turns into a Werehog for some reason.

Holy Raul, I forgot she had the cat thing going on. The OVA isn't a total waste, but that chick needed to go.


And Knuckles suffers from "Boba Fett syndrome" ie: he was more awesome when you didn't really know much about him. Knuckles just seems like Sonic's token buddy other than Tails.

That and they overused the whole falling for Robotnik over and over. (well not in SA2)

Hmm, Mighty wasn't bad either and wasn't ruined by Heroes even. (then again he's just a Sonic double)

Yeah but... Chip was pretty annoying at times. (at least he was rarely if ever in-game, unlike Sparks in Spyro)

Chip did somehow manage to avoid falling into the category of Sparks and Navi...pretty lucky.

He did really good in cut scenes and photos as well.
Another thing that's pretty rare for NPC's...

I agree about the Boba Fett syndrome.

I wish they would make a live action Sonic movie using real people for the characters. That would be awesome.
