You know, some people don't like *cosplay* regardless of their other preferences... (this applies to more than the specific discussion at hand, of course) And others who would dabble in said *cosplay* but not be particularly interested in such anthropomorphic characters.

There's plenty of people who like such comic/video game characters (or other artwork) but most definitely wouldn't consider themselves "furries" ... (or equivalent)

From when I finished cleaning up my "new" Sonic figures (some kid had covered them in paint or ink or something) put them out to dry and realised how... weird the whole thing looked.
