Yeah, I forgot about Sonic CD. The levels were just confusing (some of them. Metallic Madness Act 2... you bastard)
As far as shit Sonic stages, I can't actually remember any right now

I vote for Marble Garden. I mean it wasn't a horrible level, I liked the whole earthquake thing, and it was nice to have an actual challenge for once, but some of the enemies were just cheap and that stupid top you had to try and ride was a pain in the arse.
I almost did Rusty Venture. I almost did. Then gamefaqs told me how to get past those damn things, then I lol'd and said "This game is awesome". Then I got a copy of S&K off ebay, but the top flap was missing and I was mad about that (people are so goddamn stupid), but it was still awesome too.
I may never know. I don't hook my game system up to the intarweb...I also don't buy games that aren't on an actual disc. :p
Welcome to the elite few that figured those things out in less than 10 minutes. I simply can't wrap my head around the idea that someone *never* figured those things out. :daze:
How the hell you play games on all the cartridge/card based systems then???
You mean the cylinders you have to push up and down on until there's enough room to get through?Quote:

it'll sell..so who cares. I have a nephew who loves sonic, he is 9. and he never played the genesis games until recently when I let him Play 2.
Unless they put the thing on Steam, or one of the people I know who has a wii buys it (unlikely) I'll not be playing "Sonic 4" for some time. From what I've seen, this does not bother me.
Btw I worked out the Carnival Night cylinder thing myself too. I are smart? :P
I guess I'm going to have to pass out merit badges to those who figured those things out pre-internet or without the use of an FAQ.
I'm guessing 360 will be the only one without the motion control for mine cart level.. glad i'm getting 360 version..I hate motion controls.
I really hope this game isnt shit tbf.
I kinda swore off buying Sonic games after Unleashed, but I might give them one more chance...
You can say whatever you want, but this game at least looks like its worth buying, and that's something you really haven't been able to say since Sonic Adventure 2.
I think the best reason not to purchase Sonic 4 is that it's a Sonic game that came out after 1994.
