Sorry to ask possibly stupid questions but...
1. When a PAL game is played in 60 mode on a Modded Megadrive, will the game/music end up playing too fast, making me have to buy all NTSC U games from now on?
2. Is there anywhere you can buy spare Megadrive boxes without having to buy loads of boxed games?
Most games are region free, making the game start in NTSC mode if the Genesis is set to 60hz. If you start your game in PAL mode, and then change to 60hz, then it will run too fast, with some games.
Use old tape cases, just break the two prongs off

Games that aren't region-locked - for example, Sonic 1 - generally play slower when played using PAL 50Hz video than they do played using NTSC 60Hz video. In the end, though, whatever speed is the 'right' speed is your choice. Depends what you grew up playing, or whatever you feel comfortable with I suppose.Quote:

If you're on about storing loose cartridges, grab an old audio cassette storage box, they're great at keeping stuff dust-free and protected. Because nobody in their right mind still uses cassettes, they're generally cheap as chips at car boots and what-have-you.Quote:

I have a box I store loose cartridges in, but i've made space currently and want to put boxed games on there so they are easier to find, so i'm more looking for authentic megadrive cases
