yeah you can just take like a blade or sumin and push up from under the pin.
easily fixed dude.
if you have massive problems with it, or break it further you can send it too me and il fix it up.

Just stick the screwdriver between the pins and push them "back", it'll loosen them enough for carts to fit in. Also, after doing the pin bending, you do need a loooot more force when pressing in carts... freshly bent pins withstand 32X in the slot, a cart in the 32X and you can lift the setup up from the cart :O
So not sure if this was actually a blessing in disguise but I went to replace my broken Megadrive today and picked up a High Defenition graphics model with no TMSS.
That made my day.

Nah, it's sitting on top of my shelf waiting for the day I can be bothered to have a look at it :P
