Contra 4 was great but hard as hell!! (with no codes) Just like Contra 1 is hard without the 99 lives codes....
Contra Rebirth I thought was okay... But the graphics were less than par with Contra 4 which didn't make any since. I'd rather it be EXACTLY like Contra 1. Or something better than Contra 4. And Contra Rebirth was SO DAMN SHORT! Castlevania Rebirth kicks ass!!
Contra 1 is ultr@ easy... one of the first games I beat ~14 years ago when I did not even go to school yet......... I can beat the game with no hits even with my toes :PQuote:

I quite like Hard Corps for some reason...not usualy the kind of game I go for, but it has a certain quality to it...
Am I the only one who still shits my pants over how awesome some of the bosses in Contra Hard Corps look? Hot damn, you can tell they worked pretty hard on all of them.
My all time favorite is the Train Boss. When I saw it for the first time a couple of months ago, I let out one of those "Whoahohooo" laughs. Shit's intense
The quality in the video isn't too great, but it shouldn't bother you if you play FMV games on the Sega CD.
Didn't they hack that train level into the GBA version of Contra 3?

The problems with it are mainly no 2-player, slightly off hit detection (which you can't see in those videos because of god mode), and the smaller screen and larger sprites makes it a little harder to dodge some enemies

When it comes to 2D fighters, I trust ARC more than anyone. I'm interested to see if they're just as good with 2D run-n-guns. Definitely looking forward to this. I wonder if I should play Hard Corps on Genesis first though.
