how I'd rank the 16-bit Shinobi games:
1.) Shinobi III / Super Shinobi II (Gen/MD)
2.) Revenge of Shinobi / Super Shinobi (Gen/MD)
3.) Shinobi (Arcade)
4.) Shadow Dancer (MD/Gen)
5.) Shadow Dancer (Arcade)
I think Genesis should've had all 5 games. I'm really suprised that Genesis never got a port of original Shinobi. I would've thought that Shinobi would've been one of the first games made for the Mega Drive in Japan instead of Super Thunder Blade and Space Harrier II. The arcade Shadow Dancer should've made it too.
Alternatively, a 5-game Shinobi collection for Saturn, along with a new 32-bit game that really kicked ass (i.e. Super Shinobi III / Shinobi IV) instead of Shinobi Legends.
