Does Shadow Dancer on the G/MD differ much from the Coin-up/SMS/all-other-ports-versions?

Shadow Dancer is a fantastic game, but Gadt-dayum it's hard. Easily the hardest Shinobi game. Shinobi III is probably my favorite due to the variety of environments and play-styles.

Right you are. Well, for the most part. They're both action platformers that have, more or less, optional projectiles. But Shadow Dancer is more like the original Shinobi for arcade/SMS.Quote:

Revenge of Shinobi is my favorite followed by the amazing Shinobi III. Shadow Dancer is a good game too but my least favorite of the Shinobi series.
