super thunder blade

just curious i have a copy of super thunder blade i got at a yard sale with my dead model 1 cd stuff, for some reason it says mega drive on it and not genesis however its in the standard shaped genesis cartridge, is this a misprint or some rare version?

actually i went on ebay, most of all say sega genesis on the cart but i guess there were a few megadrive labeled genesis carts.

It is if it doesn't work in a NTSC Genesis, does it?

Probable Pal. They fit unlike the Japanese stuff.

Old games like that weren't region protected, so it would run fine in an NTSC Genesis.

And the same with the NTSC version, would run fine in my pal MD.

Sounds like a PAL MD game, should still work great on your Genesis since its one of the really early games

I assumed the 50/60 Hz problem would prevent it.

I have one or two games that I bought new in Canada that have the Mega Drive logo on the cartridge and the Genesis logo on the case.
One is Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse.
I have also seen this on a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog in a Value Village.
