Well the first post seemed like an advert for Walmart and Mobile. ;) Literally, like you were hijacked by a spambot.
Oh, and Goths? I did one once, worst mistake ever! LOL
Dude, stay away from your computer when you're baked.
That chick has no ass.

Love that site.
My car gets pissed if I don't use Mobile 1 synthetic and a good oil filter. :(
My car demands royal purple and wix filters..

6800 is the 8-bit model, the 68000 is the 16/32-bit model. My cars computer uses the 6800 8-bit version, with custom engine instructions built in.. It has two of these CPU's, and has dual 64KB flash chips, of which the .bin file to flash them is 128KB, as the computer splits it automatically upon flashing. I know a lot about my engines computer, as I've done a lot of tuning with it professionally (by email order tunes), and personally (simple things like some OBD code disables for emissions, overdrive shift point, etc)..
I'm doing more mods to the engine next month, air pump delete, and throttle body coolant bypass, to keep air intake as cold as possible. Uh huh. ;)
sounds great good video, thats the good thing about florida no smog, in california were fucked with our strict emissions laws.
I hope we don't get the tests here. My engine has 150,000 miles on it, and I don't ever want to see it taken on the road. 150k miles strong..

Damn. My 92 5.0 coupe only has an Intel 8061 in it. I have been thinking about a Caprice or Roadmaster wagon. One just rolled into my friends work with 20,000 on the clock for $1500. It make a great upgrade for the my Volvo Wagon.
Its funny because the first time I saw the title of this thread I thought, and even before I clicked on it, I always buy five quarts of mobile one for about $20 at Walmart.
That would be cool if your ECU was powered by a Motorola 68000 you could say your car has Blast Processing and does 250MPH lol.
Edit: Ahh crap someone beat me to it.
Please don't remind me, I'm on number 5, but they aren't hard to replace. Just remove intake hose, waterpump, and viola, your there, and it's only 3 bolts holding it on too... :daze: But I found that problem, my PCM was over volting the optical emitter and burning them out. I have since replaced that PCM, and traveled many miles on this one Opti with not a single problem.
Oh, and I may have the 8-bit 6800, but that just means I got half-blast processing. :P
I remember when I got the PCM I have now, it was improperly programmed to my engine, several "tables" were entirely wrong, and the entire engine ran like crap.
I simply flash it with a custom tune I have for my engine, and viola, ran perfect, and had my special "programming" of removing some OBD codes..
I love it how my cars PCM uses simple flash memory and all I need is a laptop and a cable, and just dump .bin files onto it, reboot, and start.
