The PS2 gets my vote, it was tough choice though as all the games listed are good.
None of the offerings really do much for me, but:
1. Shadow of the Colossus < Ecco (I've beaten Ecco and like it, but haven't played SotC. I guess I'll go with Ecco, but this could go either way for me since SotC looks fun.)
2. Tekken 4 > Eternal Champions (I never could into Eternal Champions)
3. Tenchu Wrath of Heaven > Comix Zone (I just dig Tenchu more than Comix Zone)
4. Ring of Red < Desert Strike (I don't know Ring of Red, but I like Desert Strike)
5. Rogue Galaxy < Shadowrun (Shadowrun is awesome!)
1. Shadow of the Colossus > Ecco The Dolphin
2. Tekken 4 > Eternal Champions
3. Tenchu Wrath of Heaven > Comix Zone
4. Ring of Red > Desert Strike
5. Rogue Galaxy > Shadowrun
Easy win. Pick some better games man.
Genesis, of course.
I've only played Shadow of the Colossus (of the games you listed), but I'll choose PS2 for my own games
this game sucks.
but the Megadrive wins due to me liking more of the games listed.
schaweet
SotC....it's hard to beat that with any combo of other games for me.
I pray to the Almighty Raul that these system wars threads will end now. Please, I pray that there won't be a System Wars volume 40. Just shoot me now and get it over with.
Genesis +1, way up.
 coolbeans
Honestly, I thought I'd given the Genesis list a run for it's money with what I included in the PS2 Lot... but the Genesis is still ahead = interesting.
The SoTc, Ring of Red, and Tenchu games were enough for me to go with the PS2 list... Comix Zone and Desert Strike are my favs in the other list but just weren't enough to justify voting for the Genny this time around.
1. Shadow of the Colossus > Ecco. Ecco's cribbed screen gets on my nerves.
2. Tekken 4 > Eternal Champions. 4 is the last instalment of Tekken I can see myself investing time in whilst EC is played out and easy on 1P. The only way I'd get into EC again is if Baloo comes to play it with me at my house.
3. Tenchu Wrath of Heaven > Comix Zone Tenchu is the far more interesting game even after completing it.
4. Ring of Red >< Desert Strike RoR can't be much worse, I hate the Strike games.
5. Rogue Galaxy > Shadowrun I'd rather just play Shadowrun the pen & paper game.
Holy crap, what a comparison, where are you finding these dregs StarMist? Talk about an apple to watermelon comparison. I consider the PS2 and its library the antithesis of the Hardcore Action gaming that the Genesis represents. As I am a former Hardcore gamer and am still an Action gamer, I choose the Genesis.
-edit-
Going with the theme:
PS2
1. Shadow of the Colossus -> Can't stand it, too much barren walking land, slowdown and the color grey for the "atmosphere" to affect me.
2. Tekken 4 -> Dial-a-combo madness with menu options that include games that wouldn't make it on their own.
3. Tenchu Wrath of Heaven -> Decent, and better than Comix Zone in my opinion, but my goodness did the graphics not live up to the hype.
4. Ring of Red -> I thought this was a cell based strategy RPG and Desert Strike is a real time overhead mission based shooter.
5. Rogue Galaxy -> Never played it and don't know enough to comment.
Genesis
1. Ecco The Dolphin -> This is a great abstract adventure with plenty of action and puzzles, it isn't like SotC at all but I'd rather play Ecco.
2. Eternal Champions -> Great technical fighter with nearly infinite possibilities for developing strategies and mastering combos.
3. Comix Zone -> Weird but with better fighting mechanics than 100% of the PS2 library, Tenchu is more amusing for me though.
4. Desert Strike -> Boring and formulaic, I haven't played Ring of Red but I would own it if I found it in the wild.
5. Shadowrun -> Cyber punk annoys me, too many menu options annoy me, I have never gotten into this.
