If I'll succeed in coding those wicked enemies that jump on the sides of blocks, a classic mode with no crazy maps, obstacles and other things might be in.

I found bugz! When I get a "game over" somewhere above the first level, the main
menu starts looking strange: the "password" option is moved waay to the left and I only
see the rd letters on the left edge of the screen. Selecting that option however makes it
all right.

Playing in Fusion 3.63x in Fedora 12 (can't imagine it makes any difference, but just in
case).

Other than that, nice game : )

That's a known bug, probably something with switching scrolling modes. Game over screen is generally buggy, I even had a swear bubble reappearing after restarting the game once. A fixed demo will be released soon.

I think the sound is perhaps too good. They should make it sound worse.

All right, so how about that: appearing on a level damaged. Q-bert appears and is cursing
right from the start, as if he was hit.

The same fix is needed for this and other Game Over bug I've mentioned (not all of Q*bert's values are reset). I definitely should've tested this demo more accurately

Looks awesome! Q*bert is one of my all time favorites, so I'll definitely check this out.
