Found this forum through NTSC. Can't believe I have not seen it before. Big collector of Sega especially the MD.

Great collection of games there.

Something I've been wondering - do blue box games come in different shades of blue? In these pictures it looks like there's a variety of shades, is that due to fading over time or just printing differences?

They're different shades of blue due to printing differences, but I'm not sure why that is (all the earlier black/grey box games are the same color, except for a few minor differences in logo positioning). I have a bunch of those and they've been like that when I got them store-bought.

I have a couple that have slightly faded which I will replace once I have completed but looking at the mint ones there does appear to be subtle variations.

Yeah I play them all the time. Not a big fan of the new-gen. Tend to play Saturn or MAME cab.

I'm aiming for a full PAL set myself, but so far I "only" have 289 games.

How many are you off of a full PAL set? I could only spot one game missing from the quick browse, Mega Games 6 vol 3. Also why are the games near your PS3 on the bottom shelf away from the main set?

Good luck finding a WCS2 :).

I need 14, all readily avaliable apart from that one you quote (I have the classics version of WCS2, do you have it?)

They are down there as they need to be alphabetised.

Very nice collection.

I have 103 Genesis titles, 14 32X titles, and 45 Sega CD titles, but most of my games don't have the box.....:(

Yeah, I have it :D. I still need a fair few games to finish my PAL set but they're all pretty common, some of them seem to fetch a bit more than they used to though ;).

Some of the variations I want are a nightmare to find, I'll get them eventually though, no rush, it's not like I'm short of games to play :).

Wow! So few to get. WCS2 will be your hardest no doubt. Are you going for variants? The KIXX World Cup 94 took me two years to find! And some of the CLASSICS aren't easy either. Plus the SEGA Sports OZ Variants are mega hard to find also.

Very impressive collection! I'm also aiming for a full PAL set, close to 200 games now. I only started off in January though. ;)

Seeing this makes me want to complete all the MD games. I have crossed the hardest hurdles. Well...unless we want to get technical of course. Maybe one day I'll link up with someone who has all the games I don't have. Haha.
