Hmm... *searches eBay*
You know, with all these Geniclones you're finding, it reminded me of something: I remember at one point coming across fake Genesis 3s. I was always curious what kind of hardware is in those clones. I believe some of them were even fully compatible with Virtua Racing and Sega Master System converters, as well as sometimes having integrated region switches. I remember finding an image of the innards of one such Genesis 3 clone once, but I don't remember where it was. When I find it, I'll link to the image.
EDIT: Here's one:

It's not the one I remember, but it's still a Genesis 3 clone, nonetheless. What kind of clone hardware is in this thing?
And here's a closeup of the motherboard:

Is this a GOAC or some crappy emulation?
EDIT 2: Here's the motherboard of that Genesis 3 clone I was talking about:

GOAC or something else?
EDIT 3: Whoa, I just noticed these clones have the exact same ASIC on them! Hmm...
My uncle has one of these
That looks almost exactly the same as:

Are the ones in the above ebay listing fake?
I'm not exactly sure. I believe it's an authentic Asian PAL MegaDrive 2, but it could very well be a phony MegaDrive 2. There's just something on the packaging that seems wrong to me.
