My personal hate is not onlie gaming or even a system but it is a man.

A man who have drove companies into the ground and is currently screwing PC gamers left right and centre.

Lets face it since he has been left to run EA Sports the PC has been screwed of any games from the company. He stopped madden, NHL, a decent World Cup game this year and even a decent FIFA game cuz it looks like the PS2 version only with filters on.

I also blame him for the shit Sega went through with the DC and he was one of a few people who decided to ditch the first xbox as soon as the 360 was out. Oh and dont forget he jumped ship when it looked like the 360 was RROD'ing on everyone and he didnt want to carry the can.

That guy is less that the s*it i have every morning.

I dislike being unable to run unlicensed code on most consoles without hacking into them somehow.

Those Playstation 3s have so much computational power, but it's just so untapped. It's the perfect video encoding machine, given its price!

Nintendo.

Not because of they were SEGA's rival, because of censorship practices.

But mostly because they spent years talking about how they had guidelines to ensure they were "family friendly", lamenting SEGA for having "violent" games, and then turning around and letting "Mortal Kombat 2" come out uncensored on the SNES just so they could profit from its sales.

Nearly 20 years later and I still don't trust Nintendo. I'd rather go to Sony or MS, at least their intentions are out in the open.

Definitely anti-competitive megacorps, definitely.

Enemies with realistic guns in fps games.
Because you can't avoid their shots! And in fps genre such enemies are some kind of "must have". You know, it's unfair, it test more luck than skills, thus
games with them are not fun. Sure I can hide behind corners but its sooo boring and feels like you are not doing it right.
The reason why I hate modern fps, some old fps like Wolfenstein 3D (Compared to games like Doom Where those "zombies guys" know how to miss often, stupid,

slow and gets down first), Zero Tolerance (Here you can't hide at all) and the reason why I can't beat demo of Blood.

And also...
"But the game is short and it takes only day to beat it" - Your typical review.
A WHOLE days? I am not used to it.

Hardcore SNES fans who bash the Genesis. I don't have a problem with somebody preferring Nintendo. I just get annoyed because it seems like half the time they have never even played a Genesis. At least have some reasoning for for your preference. For example I prefer the Genesis to the SNES because there are more games I like on it. That being said I like a fair amount of SNES games. All I am asking is to give credit were credit is due.

Tommy Tallarico-A douche bag and co creator of Video Games Live. I know he wrote a lot of music for video games. I don't care. He ruins an other wise awesome idea. Why the hell can't he just turn it down a bit? Instead he prances around like a prima donna crying out for attention. Its painful to watch. Its like mommy didn't give him enough attention and dad gave him to much. I almost feel embarrassed for him. I just wish he would stop.

I only know of one game and thats Exhumed/Powerslave and its freaking awesome on both Saturn and PS1

Xbox Live and DLC. For a long time console online capabilities and post-launch support for games was notoriously lagging behind the PC. Now things have advanced a bit, but the services are still not on the same level as on the PC. Extra things like new levels can suddenly be distributed, something that has typically been done for free on the PC, but now they're charging money for it and calling it DLC. When developers wanted to offer paid content for PC games, they would pack a substantial amount of content into an expansion pack and sell it at a reasonable price. Now instead you pay something like $10 for a fraction of what you'd get from an expack, and when you stack them up the price just becomes ridiculous compared to the value from a traditional expack.

I wouldn't have cared a bit since I don't own any current gen console, but the problem is that instead of trying to raise the bar for console services, they are instead trying to bring down the PC to their level. See: Modern Warfare 2, Games for Windows Live, etc.

Square, Square, and oh yea Square(and any company that follows the graphics over gameplay/quality in general model), the amount of damage Square has done to the industry is off the charts, and now they have destroyed ENIX(one of the super few companies that still managed to keep putting out godly games in this crappy new school era, is now no more sigh) as well.

RPGs. They are horrible games that are nearly unplayable, and yet people for whatever reason still like them. I have a long rant prepared for this topic, but I'll save it for later/another thread.

Capcom, I use to love this company with everything in my heart, but what they did to the Street Fighter series is unforgivable.There is absolutely nothing impressive about that game,I don't think I'll ever fully get over it.
