Thought I would start a thread to see where everybody is from.
I'm from Wausau, WI. Actually I just moved to town.
On that note if anybody is from the area maybe you could pass along the names of some used game stores.

The unconqured county of Kent in England. Home of the great invicta. Throughout history Kent has stood, stuckfast in defiance of all that should care to invade. Post Roman rule of course. Before that Kent was true England, the north of the estury to the tip of Wales was ruled by Danelaw. Just five minuites walk away is a medievil church where lay the body of a Knight from the crusade. Extremely rich in history is Kent. You have to walk along the cobble stone roads in Rochester, the home of Charles Dickens or visit Canterbury cathederal where Thomas A Beckit was slain due to a druken whim from the King. "Who will rid me of this priest!?".
Lovely place.
New South Wales, which is a state of Australia. Although technically I'm from New Zealand as my parents are both from there.
Missouri - although you could tell that from my Genesis Around the World article.
I'm from the east bay. That means the eastern part of the Bay Area, in norcal (Northern California). Specifically, I currently reside in a small town called Pleasant Hill. I'm only about 15 miles away from Berkeley, but Pleasant Hill is a lot more conservative and boring. I generally prefer to tell people that I'm from Concord, which is a larger city that borders PH. I used to live in Concord itself, and my current residence is at most a 10 minute walk from the Concord border. Not that any of this means anything to you guys. In short, I live in a small city approx. 15 miles out of Berkeley and Oakland. Eventually I hope to move "further in"*, like to Oakland or Berkeley. I would love to live in the city, but rent/property is just too damn expensive.
* - this is a local expression, I guess. The city (San Francisco) is "in town"; in the east bay, further east is "further out" and further west is "further in". This expression only applies to the east bay in relation to the city, and not the north bay or the peninsula or south bay.
I'm from sunny Cabo Rojo (Cape Red in English) in Puerto Rico, jewel of the Caribbean. Our town is sleepy during the week but comes alive on weekends, as we're the premier beach town on the island. I like it because it's nice and quiet but close to the mall and main urban center, which is Mayaguez.
I'm Currently living in Encinitas, California, which is about 20 minutes from what is known as down Town San Diego. Eventhough its called Down town there isn't really much there, just the air port, Convention centre, Petco Park a bunch of parking garages and mabey a couple of buildings over 5 stories tall. I moved here a few years ago, I used to live in Burnaby, B.C. (5-10 minutes from Vancouver). I'll be moving again in 07, for University.
I live in Watertown, New York. The city is, well perfect if someone wanted to make an SOR movie. Not a lot of crime, but sure in crappy shape.
I still like the area.
I am from Denver, CO.
Melf I bet you are VERY familiar with rust.
A beach town in the rainy tropics? You betcha. :(
