Too bad Kirk didn't get the same run (3 Seasons for TOS vs 7 Seasons on TNG) that Picard got. Kirk in the movies just wasn't the same. I erase that Kirk from my memory along with most of the movies.

Picard in his academy days was much more a bad ass then Kirk was in his prime as captain.

Even worse, she blew every single chance that came up to get her ship back home. Remember when they did the Warp 10 experiment? It was deemed a failure due to side effects ( ;) ), but people forget that before reaching Warp 10, they were easily holding Warp 9.99999999999... plenty fast enough to get home in a few seconds.
