I'm off to Disney for vacation at the beginning of August, and I'd like to know if there are any decent flea markets, thrift stores, etc. in the area. I'll also be heading down to Ft. Lauderdale, my old stomping grounds, for a day or two. I haven't lived there in 18 years, so I have no idea what the scene is like.

Nope. Born and raised in NY (Islip, LI) and lived in Florida for seven years. I moved to PR eighteen years ago.
Try to go to Daytona Beach Flea Market if possible. A shit load of Genesis carts. ;)Quote:

Hey, I live in Orlando, and I know a few spots.
On FL state road 50 there's a cool independent game shop called S & F games. They carry games for basically every system. It's run by an old couple who are always playing video games when you come in, the lucky sods =D There's also a Rhino Games on SR 50.
In Winter Garden, which isn't too far from Orlando, there's a place called Cybertron video games that I can't recommend highly enough. They always have plenty of Genesis games - I got my current Genesis there, actually. They usually have a decent stock of Sega CD and Saturn games, and I've even seen stuff like the virtual boy there.
Cybertron has a dedicated booth at the Webster, FL, flea market, but that's probably too far out of your way.
If you want more specific directions to anything, I could furnish them.
Edit: Cybertron is actually a local chain, so there are several locations around the Orlando area. If you could tell me where you'll be, I could tell you which one is probably closest.
I'll be staying at the Best Western near the Magic Kingdom. I don't know precisely where that is in Orlando, but I'll pretty much need stores near the Disney parks.
Visit thrift stores! And if you find a Saturn Mission Stick there, buy it for me and send it to me! You might score a 32X spacer and some shipping cash from me!
Actually, Disney's a bit of a drive from Orlando proper. There's really not a lot out there around the area but touristy stuff.
