I have two more games that are super fun that I've yet to see reproduced that are on the agenda, not to mention the undistributed Dragon's Lair limited run that should be out next month.
I should also mention that after we sell out of Dragon's Lair, we'll be releasing that ROM for free download as well as the ROM for the unreleased Swamp Thing Genesis game.
Lots of stuff coming soon :D
So this is why beagel didn't return my pm when I asked about making a repro. That's cool that you're offering this as a service, but the "for the community" bit is somewhat exaggerated.
Ah, thats what Zero Wing looks like! I've seen the Korean version of that cart around (living in Korea). I'll have to pick up a copy and find out if its English or Japanese on the cartridge.
I think this is a great thing for the gaming community. Some people don't want to tinker with flash carts, or just want a real game and box on the shelf. Nothing wrong with that, and at $40 a cart they're not exactly robbing anybody!
There are a few PMs that I haven't gotten around to responding to, yours included. There was a lot more interest in these than I had first anticipated, and my inbox was flooded.
Mark and I have released a lot of prototypes from our personal collection, including numerous unreleased NES titles. We plan on doing the same for the Genesis. Although we haven't been a part of this community for an exceptionally long time, we've been involved in the video game collection community for years now.
Magic Warrior :D
I somewhat regret ever introducing that artwork from the guidebook. It honestly doesn't ever look that great to me, this is the 2nd repro I've seen where the art is taken and put in front of a more detailed setting in the back. Wish I could say i could do better though heh.
If it makes you feel any better Brams, I got the idea for using the art initially from this site:

I'm actually really happy with the way it came out, especially when you compare it to the bizarre mountain scenery the guide uses as a back drop. That thing looks miserable!
beigemore: My comments about the community were not be viewed as some sort of martyrdom. Make no mistakes, we're providing a for-profit service. What I was getting at is being a part of the gaming community (DP, AA, NA, RFGeneration, Assembler, Neo, ect.) for 5+ years now, I've developed relationships and a reputation that I wouldn't dream of tarnishing by putting out a crappy product at an obnoxious mark up.
More to come folks, thanks so much for the orders and the support!
Is this the latest translation in the "Warrior"? Bramsworth sell me the original as well :)
Would you share that back drop ? I think it looks great and I would love to try toying around with it myself.
Just the waterfall pic? Not a problem at all. Spending hours creating my own templates and artwork, I'm reluctant to send out jpgs of my inserts and labels. I know my work is nothing compared to some of the top notch stuff put out on things like the cover project, but it is very time consuming and part of my compensation in the reproduction is reflected in the time it takes to do the art.
