Is the Mega Man series boss formula intended to be logical?
I mean, its obvious when you have Flame Man vs. Blizzard Man type scenarios (fire vs. ice), but I don't understand things like Pharaoh Shot beats Ring Man, or Plant Barrier beats Tomahawk Man. What the heck? Can anyone explain? On another forum, one guy claimed it was happened starting with MM3 as the series was going 'downhill'. However, that was happening even with MM2. MM1 is the closest to being logical, but even that raises some questions like Cutman vs. Elecman. Sure, scissors can cut wires but Elecman doesn't even have them, and Elecman vs. Iceman is less logical than Fireman vs. Iceman (which doesn't even really work!)
