Ebay, Half.com, and Amazon Sellers RANT

Ever buy a game and the piece of shit seller puts a sticker label on the cart and or on the box that doesn't come off? This has happened to me a couple of times for genesis games on all three of the sites in the title. These fucking assholes. There has to be another way for them to inventory the games, a piece of paper saying what it is with a printed barcode onto the paper with a rubber band around it, not take away the value of the game, and not telling the buyer about it so you buy a game that is actually worth in some cases MUCH LESS then you just paid for it. Before I was nice but now this will call for an instant negative feedback from me. No talking or negotiating.

I hear you. The real good ones are those metallic stickers when removed leave the word "VOID". Impossible to take them off without destroying the label.

if you use a hair dryer you can get those off without leaving void. i've done it to a few games.

I hate stickers on games so much they do no belong period.

It's even worse when a physical game store does it...

I don't understand how they can get away with that crap. I got banned from Amazon because one retard thought they got a bootleg and yet other sellers can sell games again and again with improper descriptions. Please do leave bad feedback. Hell, email Amazon as well. You can do a lot of damage. I had more then one buyer literally make things up and I got into hot water over it.

I was in EBGames the other day and I noticed they don't even put stickers on the outside of the case anymore. The employees are taking the insert and sticking it directly on the paper.

This does suck I got a few 32x games at the local game store with price stickers on the label!!!

I hate GS run stores more then anybody, but come on, you're joking right(I don't even go into a GS store anymore, I'm forever boycotting them, so I don't know any of the new BS they might be doing)?

A local Gamestop was doing the thing with the stickers on the inserts for a short time but after quite a few complaints they stopped doing it. It doesn't seem like a company wide thing it's something individual store managers decide on.

In regards to online sellers having stickers on carts, if they list their games as anything above acceptable and there's a sticker over a cartridge label I ask for my money back. If they don't cooperate I go to Amazon, eBay, Paypal or whoever and report them for selling an improperly described item and still get my money back. It still pisses me off to have to go through the trouble though.

It REALLY pisses me off when sellers don't mention the game is an ex-rental especially with the horrible VOID stickers.

Ok, but still, damn is there any end to how low a GS will go, what in hell makes them think, that would be a good idea?

I understand the anger over unnecessary stickers, but they all are removable. Even the foil "void" stickers.

The solution is a combination of razor scraper/heat gun/goo gone. With those three items, all of my game carts and discs have been restored to excellent condition.

Now, I did come upon a permanent sticker over the label side of a Dreamcast disc. It was put there by Blockbuster and I ruined the data portion of the disc getting it off. That was ridiculous.

Not really had this problem, the only labels i get are either old blockbuster ones or low adhesive stickers on the actual case..
