thanks..
Is there a cart out there that let you have put all the ROM's on a SD Card..like the NES Power Pak & has SVP on it to play V.R
I don't think Sega would approve anyone sold such a product with their SVP chip on it...
Who says Sega had to manufacture the chip :P
I, myself am waiting for such a product, however SVP compatibility is not too much of an issue for me, the product would cost too much otherwise.
It's Sega's chip, their copyright. I can't see why anyone would bump the price on such a product just to play Virtua Racing on it, which you easily can get cheap anyway...
the VR chip is some DSP by Samsung I think...
I just want a Mega Cart like PowerPak for the Mega Drive/Genesis with a SD Slot to add like 512 M or 1 GB for like 50 ROM's
Got mine today. Awesome thing, works perfect and only 6 days for shipping to austria, thanks again.
One more question: will the flashed games with an action replay (i.e. endless lives, etc).
Sorry for bumping this, but had to answer.
Games installed on the Mega Cart do indeed allow you to use the Action Replay on them. This is also true for the Game Genie as well...
Yeah, I assume that that would be the case. Should work with just a single game though.
I can't speak for the Action Replay, but I've used a Game Genie with a Megacart loaded with several games and it worked just fine. Also, the Megacart menu comes up whether you have one game flashed to it or several.
So, uh, Fonzie ... any chance of getting that save slot name reuse update soon? ;)
