Any way this will get released? Officially, repro, rom? This game looks good and it would be a waste if no one could play it.

Love love LOVE the tune starting at 4:25 :rock:. I love how it reiterates the theme you hear after beating a boss (reminds me of how "Cosmic Eternity" in Sonic CD reiterates the stage clear theme).

Edit: go to 6:39 to hear the boss defeated theme in all its glory.

It looks pretty good, but sadly it seems to be just another Amiga shooter.

I really wish someone would just make a game with this style but mix it up with some Aliens/Metroid/Half-Life survival stuff.

Imagine that, the creepyness of Aliens (the movie) while visiting area's like they do in the Metroid games,
all while fixing stuff which opens up new area's (like in half-life)

I always felt that would be a greatly more rewarding game experience then walking from left to right and shooting everything.

In short, i wish some company put some more adventure/rpg elements in these shooters.

Does it look like a lost timeless classic? Probably not. Does it look like a damn solid Turrican clone? You betcha.

As they said in the video, the rights to the game are in the hands of Sony as they absorbed Psygnosis.

I know it looks like Turrican gameplay. The visuals look really good and even if you want to say its turrican its still more of a sequel, still a new game we haven't played.

At 1:05 they said it started as an Amiga game.

Maybe Super Fighter Team should get on this.

I don't think Super Fighter Team is in any better position than DICE themselves to get the property from Sony. They said they want to release it as public domain.
