This was evident throughout the starting stages of each planet, and even more so during the final boss. It was a unique element that I believe was very much programmed intentionnally (and mathematically) into the game (There's a reason why you get a shit-load of reviving potions as you approach the final boss, after all). I disagree with anyone who would say this game is in any way broken because of this. Even as a seasoned RPG player, it gave me a new insight that I hadn't marked before. Overall, once again, the story, gameplay, music AND graphics were extremely satisfying.
