Hey guyz I found a copy of this game on ebay for around £40 is it worth it? I do like retro gaming don't get me wrong but its rather expensive and I could get Assassins creed botherhood for a cheaper price.

Emulate it and buy AC.
Zebbe will say it is the ultimate MD experience and must be in anyone's collection. In my opinion, get something like Battle Mania Daiginjou instead :P
One of, if not the best RPG on the Genesis. Most assuredly worth it.
It's my favorite rpg of all time, and my favorite genesis title. I'd say it's worth it if it's in perfect shape. I'm not exactly sure what the us dollar equivalent is, but you can get a pretty minty copy here for 50 us dollars. Although you pal guys get an actual plastic clamshell so that makes it easier to swallow.
Oh and the sound on every emulated version/collection I've played is a bit off.
ok guyz just bought the game now and now its time for the waiting game xD
Congratulations! I'm sure you will be pleased.
Glad u got it man.
Just wanted to mention that my favorite game was previously Sonic 2, from the time I got it with my Genesis (along with Sonic 1) in '93 or so. Nothing topped Sonic 2 EVAR until I played PSIV a couple yrs ago, and it clearly became my favorite game EVAR.
PSIV is just the best evar.
ENJOY and let us know how you like it!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Im really looking forward to playing it tbh since the only RPG I have finished on the megadrive was Landstalker which I really enjoyed. I also pre-ordered Pier Solar too and Im look forward to that one too :D but yeah when I finish playing it I will let you know what I think of it ;).
Cool, if u want, tell us ur 1st impressions once u get it also.
(1st impressions for me were awesome.)
I'm also waiting for my copy of Pier Solar which will be amazing, especially that I get 2 soundtracks, since I have the Sega CD (mo. 2), so I'll be able to switch between both soundtracks, I believe. Can't wait. Also my only other Genesis RPG I've played thru: The Immortal, which is bloody & awesome.
Just be mindful that you may have to change the battery in the cart.
A little while ago I made the silly mistake of playing through Super Metroid without changing it as the battery hadn't died yet. Half way through my game it went. Along with all my saves :(
It would be even worse with something like Phantasy Star IV.
