I need to fix/mod a TG-16 and would also like to take apart a gamecube and maybe an N64 and some carts. would this kit or the others further down on the page do the job? I have one of these stores in town and they may stock this kit, IIRC.
I'm specifically looking at the bits that look like screwdriver bit with a notch cut out.

I went done there about last year and it did not have the right bits. They looked like they might work in the pic but they didn't. I ended up having to order those stupid things.
Bummer. They have a no-questions-asked return policy, so maybe I'll grab it and try it out.
I know what you mean, thought. Especially for controllers, there are many that need a long skinny bit. I should have ordered some of these from ebay already... Could try the bic pen trick for the consoles :-/
