Anyone here ever used Breaker Pro? I've been wanting to get it for quite some time and once I get cash I probably will. Last night, my friend told me that he heard you can't play games with multiple tracks using Breaker Pro. Is this true?
For those of you who don't know what Breaker Pro is, it's basically Swap Magic for PSX games...
I've never heard of it, and I don't know what Swap Magic is either. It sounds like a boot disc or something?
Swap Magic allows you to play backups or imports on your PS2. Yes it's basically a boot disc. It's cheaper and safer than a modchip and I've been using it since January with no problems...
Ah yes... Swap Magic only works for PS2 CD/DVD games. Breaker Pro only works with PSX CD games. I've been having no problems with Swap Magic and if I can scrap up some cash I'd get Breaker Pro depending on if the rumors my friend told me are true or not...
I haven't used it, nor do I know anyone that has, but what I've read about it makes Breaker Pro out to be a pretty solid tool. Even so, at around $50 US, you may as well just get your PS2 modded and save you the annoyance of constant disk-swapping.

Oh, so Breaker Pro is a boot disc for PSX imports that works on PS2? There was a nice boot disc for PSX called PS-X-Change, but it didn't work on PS2s.
So if I get a Swap Magic and a Breaker Pro, I can effectively play PSX and PS2 imports? That would be nice. I don't mind using boot discs; I use them for DC and GC already.
Yea and burned backups as well. You can get yourself a fancy fliptop or you can use a slide card. I use a butter knife. Them capitalist dogs wont get my cash!
I don't know about Breaker Pro, but Swap Magic can force NTSC video...

I also googled for Breaker Pro help and only ran into 2 website forums of a dude not getting it to work but eventually got it to work. So I guess my friends rumors are false so I'll be getting that soon...
