Looks like Nemesis. Is there a list shmups that are actually available for the 360 in the US?

Not sure if there is a list but just lurk here a bit, that's what I do

One that is available right now and cheap as hell is Wartech: Senko no Ronde. It's a cross between a shmup and a fighting game. Think of a 2d virtual on.
Aksys has deathsmiles on sale right now for 20 bucks on their site.
The live arcade has Triggerheart Exelica, Guwange, KOF Sky Stage, Omega Five and probably others I'm forgetting.

I think I might need professional help for this..:)
Let's see, 2010 saw me finally upgrade my HTPC to the dual core Athlon X2 4200+ based system I had in the office. That and a modest video card and RAM upgrade, along with Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate, contributed to me being able to enjoy Batman Arkham Asylum, completed to 100% and Transformers: War For Cybertron. I also picked up Nyxquest, Portal, Deus Ex 1+2, and Bioshock on Steam but haven't played them much. I have to use Pinnacle game profiler to program each to work with a gamepad first, I hate all of the testing that requires. No, even though I have a wireless Trackman and keyboard, I will not, ever, play a game with them.
I also picked up Star Wars Rebel Assault (Complete), Sim City 2000 CD Collection, Shadow Warrior (Complete), Tomb Raider Gold (Complete), Mech Warrior 2 (Complete), Age of Empires II: Gold (boxed), Sega Rally Revo (Complete), Resident Evil 4 (Complete, patched for GC textures) for PC, I haven't tried installing most of them yet.
For stuff I can play on the 360, Atari Anthology for Xbox was a real treat, which will probably be the closest thing to my ever playing 2600 games again, all the ones I had as a kid are in there and play well. I also snagged Mad Dash Racing (Boxed) for Xbox. Ghostbusters on 360 was on sale, and I think I figured out why. I also picked up Pocket Bike Racers and Project Gotham Racing 3, along with After Burner Climax, Virtual On Oratario Tangram, Sonic Adventure and Sonic 4 on XBLA.
I picked up a good amount of retro titles that I've hardly played as well.
Cloud Master (Complete), Maze Hunter 3-D (Complete), Montezuma's Revenge (Complete), and Psycho Fox (Complete), Powerstrike (Complete), R.C. Grand Prix (Complete), Miracle Warriors (Complete with Map, replaces my non mapped duplicate), E-Swat (Complete), for Master System.
Rad Racer (Cart Only) and Willow (Cart Only) for NES.
Chakan (Complete), Jewel Master (Complete), and Ghostbusters (Boxed), Pit Fighter (Boxed), Thunder Force II (Complete), Vapor Trail (Cart Only, Atomic Robo Kid (Cart Only), Aladdin (Complete, T2 - The Arcade Game (Complete), Lethal Enforcers (Complete long box with Justifier gun), Bimini Run (Boxed), Mercs (Complete), Ristar (Cart only), Risky Woods (Cart only), Wolverine (Cart only), Toy Story (w/ Manual), Primal Rage (Cart only), Valis (Complete), The Lost World Jurassic Park (Complete), for Genesis.
Neutopia, Kaze No Densetsu (The Legend of) Xanadu (Complete, Jpn) TurboGrafx-16.
Race Drivin' (Cart Only), Stunt Race FX (Cart Only), UN Squadron (Boxed) and Vortex (Boxed), Combatribes (Cart Only), Super Off Road The Baja (Cart Only), Final Fight (Cart Only), D-Force (Cart Only), Final Fantasy II (Cart Only), Dirt Trax FX (Boxed), Doom (Boxed), Joe & Mac (Cart Only), Smash TV (Boxed), Pilot Wings (Boxed), Hal's Hole in One Golf (Boxed), Hyperzone (Cart Only) for the Super Nintendo.
Novastorm (w/manual), Night Trap (Complete, Jpn), Doom (Complete), for 3DO.
Heart of the Alien, Brutal Paws of Fury, Novastorm, Wonderdog, Cliffhanger, Lethal Enforcers, (All Complete) Sega CD.
I just recently bought Winter Heat, Race Driven' and Mobile Suit Gundam (All Complete, Jpn) and Wipeout (Complete), Offworld Interceptor Extreme (Complete) in the Spring/Summer for Saturn.
Tokyo Highway Battle (Complete), because somebody told me it was identical in gameplay to Tokyo Extreme Racing on PS1. It's actually more like High Velocity on Saturn, but that is still a good thing.
I finally repurchased Re-Volt (Complete) for Dreamcast. Now I just need to remember to pick up Fur Fighters and I'll have every game I snagged for less than $20 just prior to the .com crash in 2000.
Finally, I picked up a two Microsoft Sidewinder steering wheels, one with force feedback and one with interchangeable pedals. This one will make teaching the kiddo how to drive with Hard/Race Drivin' and other great games easy on the insurance bill. Of course that will be some twelve years from now.
Oh yeah, the Everdrive and Severdrive gave me the opportunity to play Darxide, Wolf 3D, Spear 3D and Soul Star X beta on 32X along with Knights of the Round and, um, the previous Capcom beat-em up who's name escapes me on SNES.
2010 was a pretty okay year.
It's been all about MS-DOS games for me this year:
-Star Wars X-Wing
-Star Wars TIE Fighter
-Raiden
-Wolfenstein 3D
-Doom
-Golden Axe
It's only been about 6 months since I started playing DOS games, but in these 6 months, I've been playing DOS games more than anything.
For consoles, I didn't really find anything exceptional, but I did have fun with:
-After Burner Climax
-Sonic 4
-Sonic Colors
Classic gaming on the Genesis and PC Engine is what I've been doing most of the time when playing games on a console. I've been playing:
-Thunder Force III
-After Burner II(Genesis and PC Engine versions)
-Contra Hard Corps
-Galaxy Force II
-Gradius II
-Image Fight II
I could go on forever, but I'll stop here.
Overall a pretty tame year for me, with many disappointments for both game releases and announcements on future games.
First there was the dead-on-arrival C&C4. I was casually looking forward to Starcraft 2 later but then they had to go mess it up with Battle.net "2.0" which won't even let me play the game with my overseas friends.
With a lack of appealing releases for the first half of the year I re-played Morrowind and Oblivion, and Valve's free Alien Swarm provided a nice distraction on the side. WoW: Cataclysm has been the only game I've bought this year so I guess it's the highlight, it corrects almost everything that went wrong with the previous expansion. The old content has been reinvigorated, the game is genuienly challenging again and PvP is no longer centered around the niche-y arena segment.
Other than that I enjoyed the Civ5 demo, guess I'll buy the game next year.
I just beat Granada, I don't think I'll be able to do it again.Awesome game though.
After Burner Climax
Sonic Colors
Super Mario Galaxy 2 (bleh, apart from the very final stage)
Super Meat Boy
Still playing tons of Sonic CD and Sonic Unleashed though...
Pretty much playing GBA games via emulation that I missed when they first came out like Dragon Ball Z Supersonic Warriors, Zelda Minish Cap, Gunstar Super Heroes and Lemmings GBA.
The games that stood out for me were Cave shooters. With my discovery of how to get Japanese PS1 shooters to play on a us system and Deathsmiles coming out in the US I have played and loved them. I picked up Futari as well (Platinum Hits version is $40 shipped) but I probably won't play it till jan. I'm seriously thinking about picking up a Japanese 360 now so I can get the others.
I won't lie: I haven't played much this year...but ever since I got my own place back around May, I have been reunited with my classic game collection. No joke. I was seperated for almost three years, and now I am reunited. Have I played much of anything? No not really... :/
Did buyy a truckload of new games, and I have completed my Dreamcast collection, US Saturn, and almost done with US Genesis. Really...not much left to buy then I can finally sit down and play 'em all. :D
The games I bought this year:
God of War collection
Blazblue Continuum Shift
Dead Rising 2
...That's it for PS3.
For Genesis/CD, I got (notably)...
Contra Hard Corps
Eternal Champions CD
Generations Lost
Wirehead
Super Monaco GP
Subterrania
Adventures of Batman and Robin
Rise of the Dragon
