FS: Xbox with Xbmc Dash, Hardmodded, 160gb HDD

Basically, this doesn't really get alot of use anymore, great for emulators and the likes, playing back videos, you can even get the weather on it, comes with a 160gb HDD as standard, it will fit alot of games and that on.

Sadly, the DVD does NOT work, so unless you replace it, you won't be playing legit games on it.

Console comes with the AC Adaptor (European), and a Composite Cable with SCART adaptor to connect it too, component cables can be found on ebay for superior picture quality, especially with High Defenition, and the Xbox does output at 720p

Console is also PAL/UK, unsure if it will work in American regions, so sorry I can't answer your questions if you ask.

Console also comes with 4 controllers, 2 S-Type, 2 Duke, 1 S-Type & both Dukes work perfectly, 1 S-Type seems to have trouble connecting? Games sometimes bring up connection errors and the controller has to be unplugged and plugged back in, one of the attachment cords is missing as well.

It's fine. I hope so. I've got an ebay 'want it now' post up. No response yet, probably won't work. Guess I'll have to bear down and do this myself. Bah (humbug).

I have two and no, I would not sell them as they were enhanced with extra RAM (128MB) and hardmodded too.

Only problem is that their CPU is too slow for HD contents decompression. :cool:

As the OP mentioned, it's an awesome device to have at home even without an working DVD drive as you can put stuff in it through the ethernet port using FTP.

Is this softmodded? and the drive doesn't work.

Id be enclined to offer you either £30 or I'll trade you a modded SNES with RGB and region/hz switches ? unless you fancy a mint Gunstar Heroes and Mortal Kombat 3 lol.

it's not softmodded no, it's hardmodded, and yeah, the DVD drive doesnt work.

not sure myself how to replace it so I wouldnt do it myself, I never really used it when it did work tbh ;p

i'll think about the modded SNES offer though.

I ended up getting rid of that Xbox with trouble reading discs. It would've been more hassle to get a drive and find somebody to install one then just replace the system.

hardmodded would be cool. Ive already a crystal softmodded xbox with XBMC & a 250gig HDD...I love the thing especially with a 6-button pad! works aces on emulators.

..but im looking for a backup and I want to make a slim without a drive which you can't do on a softmod.

This one is TSOP Flashed, and yeah, would make a good slim ;p

No DVD Drive makes the windows kinda pointless sadly, was always fun watching the discs spin :')
