What are some of your fav games on the origional xbox?

It's sad how so many people experienced HL2 on the bloody Xbox.... just plain sad.

You are in for a real treat with DoA Xtreme Beach Volleyball. It's the perfect relaxer game.

You can also get Shikigami no Shiro on the PS2 and Wii, locally. The one for the PS2 is called Castle Shikigami 2, and the one for the Wii is Castle OF Shikigami III. The FIRST game in the series is also out on the PS2, but was localized pretty half-assedly as Mobile Light Force 2.

Here's some info on the series as a whole.

I'm also thinking of getting outlaw volleyball on the xbox. It looks like good trashy fun. I don't have a PS2 or Wii but I will probably get Shikigami no shiro 2 on the dreamcast. Ive been considering getting a PS2 for some of the shmups like thunderforce 6.

I think Tecmo Classics has the only home version of the arcade Bomb Jack. Or has it been released somewhere else? And it's an Xbox exclusive compilation so definitely something for the collectors!

Taito Legends 2 seems to have a lot of really cool games besides those Xbox/PC only games as well; Space Invaders 95 and Darius Gaiden for example. Awesome.

Also I've finally actually got to try Psychonauts and my initial impression is very positive, seems like a great game. It's also available for PS2 and PC by the way.

Rygar on the NES doesn't come close to being the arcade game experience. It's like saying: "I have Gauntlet on the NES, so why buy a port of the arcade game?"

Only one I can think of offhand would be Dead or Alive Ultimate, which is VERY worth it, if you ask me. It has a port of the Saturn version of DoA, as well as Dead or Alive 2, but completely reworked, being a better game than even DoA3 was. Not to mention there's a hidden G4 video about the DoA series, as well as extra unlockables for DoA3 if you have a save file of it in your Xbox's HDD.

Shenmue II

I really need to start playing some of my Xbox games.

I have shenmue 2 on the dreamcast. Awesome game. I never did finish it tho. I have been playing the hell out of Land of the Dead: Road to fiddler's Green. I actually like this game way way more than resident evil 5, and maybe close to as much as resident evil 4. Actually I like it more than RE4 because of it's classic atmosphere but its production values are way worse than RE4 so most probably won't agree with me. When I first started playing it the muddy graphics made me think it would be a really crappy game, but if you like zombie movies this game is gold. For the record I thought the Land of the Dead movie sucked.
