If Sega did release it in western regions, I doubt more than 10 would have sold!
Shame really. I'd love to own one but they're just too damn expensive.
how the hell does it attach to the Sega CD?
I've been looking for that thing for YEARS, but I have yet to find one. To this day, that grainy ass picture is the only thing I've ever seen.
Here's another pic of the Karaoke add-on:
This is a good pic of it alone http://www.gameforfun.com/en/product...oduct_id=4922#
And a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0KAZOuP8xI
Apparently they had one for the Dreamcast too? http://www.debaser.force9.co.uk/drikara/
well that video is just a SEGA CD playing back CD+G Karaoke discs. No add-on there. :(
Pretty interesting, how much are they worth?
probably about as much as that DS-16 cart switcher that's also a rare Genesis accessory.
Probably because Karaoke isn't NEARLY as big here as it is in Japan. They love their Karaoke. Here it's seen more of a drunken-bar/party thing. I mean, who in their right mind would cart around their Genesis, SEGA CD, AND Karaoke add-on around with them to other places?
Karaoke in your own house just...isn't the same.
that thing is sweet
Yup, my X'Eye has a line out and MIC input jack. It's pretty nifty.
That Model 1 with Model 1 CD with the Karaoke Add-On looks ever MORE amazing than it already did!
Bow before the might of the X'Eye!
