I am trying to find out what the rarest Sega 32X games ever made or Items out there? Everytime I google it in the search box I get alot of different answers. Is there some type of rarity guide that accurate? I enjoy collecting Sega 32X stuff.

In the US:
Spiderman: Web of Fire
In General:
Primal Rage PAL - Only 10 or so copies known to exist.
DarXide is another one that's stupendously rare and also PAL Only.
Don't forget PAL T-Mek, it's also just as rare as PAL Primal Rage.
Since Buytradegames also said "Items", I'm going to add the Virtua Fighter Special Training Pack. I'd say it's pretty hard to find, though not too long ago somebody obviously had a case of them and unloaded them one by one on eBay. I snagged one for a measly $12 + shipping (pretty sure). It's pretty much the only rare thing I own for 32X, other than a sealed Primal Rage, which probably isn't that rare and likely isn't worth a whole lot.
And all of these rare games SUCK. DarXide does have some great graphics though.
Remember Guntz, that Virtua Fighter Training Pack isn't a game. ;)
As previously stated:
US: Spider-Man: Web of Fire
JP: San Goku Shi IV (like that training pack though some guy just unloaded about 8-10 of these things one week after the other early last year; so that dropped its supposed scarcety)
EU: T-Mek / Primal Rage / DarXide (In that order IMO, though T-Mek and Primal Rage are probably equal in the end)
And don't forget:
BR: Surgical Strike
Ah but that's CD 32X isn't it?
It is! So maybe it's the rarest CD game and the rarest 32X game?
Is Web of Fire really all that rare? There is always a copy of it on Ebay....
There was some Brazilian game that someone posted about here a while ago, I forget what it was called, but it seemed like it was a Brazil only release and no one even knew it existed.
No, there really is known to be about only 10 copies exist.
It's definitely rare, especially complete. Goes for a cool $150-200 boxed. Don't expect to find it in the wild. But it's nowhere near as rare as DarXide, T-Mek PAL, or Primal Rage PAL.
Yes, but Buytradegames specifically said "rarest 32X game or item out there?", so the Training Pack belongs in this discussion.
Surgical Strike.
I still remember when the only word on that game was the advertisements for it's release in the packaging for the Sega CD version. My how times change... Next thing you know Project Atlantis and Alone in the Dark prototypes will surface.
Instead of posting in every thread section with your copy and paste question asking what we think are the rarest games, why don't you fucking find out for yourself it's not hard at all
Wow! I didn't know that! I knew Primal Rage 32X PAL was rare. But not that rare. Thanks for the info.

Well I know one thing, I'd much rather have users like buytradegames coming here to ask questions than them going to that upstart SegaAge. Who do those Nintendo dorks think they are? Barging into the Genesis scene like they own the damn place.
(seriously, I had a browse of both Ninty and SegaAge and there was hardly a difference in what users were there, it's nothing but former Ninty fanboys in there)
yeah better here i guess
I think their is room in the world for 2 Sega Forums to exist. Sega Age isn't Sega 16's cross town rival. Their are several people from this forum over on Sega Age, and many many Nintendo Age people on here, and digit press, and atari age...and the list goes on. We all love games, and collecting for Sega is becoming more popular...HOORAY, in the end its a win for everyone.
As far as this thread goes... I am not opposed to asking questions but when you post the same kind of thread three times, without introduction it makes me a bit suspicious.
@Guntz great name, dig the SF nod. If you every want to sell that Virtua Fighter Pack, let me know.
There are a few betas out there too, I really wish the X-men would have made it. I love the genesis marvel exclusive games.
I want PAL T-Mek and Darxide ;(.
I wouldn't say they co-exist with us in a friendly way. While yes they "support" the SMS, Saturn and Dreamcast, the main focus is the Genesis. To be honest, a lot of SegaAge feels like an evil twin of Sega-16. There are two guys (MrMark and BeaglePuss) who are sort of like SFT except it definitely isn't a proper business. Then again, there are some exclusives between the two forums. We have a high end professional homebrew game that has been in development for around 6 years, they have Hangman SG... ;)
Then why don't they all just join Sega-16? :pQuote:

Why thank you. :) It was never a very original name, but who can't love Shining Force? ... Maybe a Swedish Android who has yet to learn how to love, but Sweden is different.Quote:

... On second thought, somebody get that Android a copy of Shining Force, quick!
Okay, though I'm looking to keep it for now. Weren't you the guy who was interested in my Jaguar XJ220? I forget...Quote:

Hi snotman, All i wanta say if you can't deal with a new persons post then please don't reply to it. I'm new and not a veteran like you. I am not looking for trouble I trying to learn about all of the sega stuff I can. I also want to say thanks to everybody else that posted something on one of my ads, much appreciated. THANKS
Maybe their is rivalry stuff I haven't seen. Genny is Sega's most popular system it is going to take eat a lot of focus on any open Sega forum, as it should.
Well I guess for the reasons you stated, S16 is focused on the Genesis Era. Multiple forums are a good thing, I found Nintendo Age years ago, because of NA I found Sega 16. This is kind of like a Walmart Vs a Target, they both sell similar things, but they both have also have enough differences that usually allows people to utilize both. Will people prefer one to the other, sure but it's still good to have both of them.
That one actually belongs to the forum of Eidolon's Inn, "The Tavern".
What the hell are you talking about? I do like Shining Force. I have it, the prequel, the sequel and the one on Mega-CD. I'd rank them like this: SitD>SFII>SF>SFCD.Quote:

Oh... Umm... Well, we always have Wolfenstein 32X, but it's more of a port than an original homebrew. :(
Somebody here (I think Mr. Smith) always talks about the reawakening of a Swedish android who has to learn to love. Are Sega-16 jokes from yesteryear reserved for old time users or something? :(Quote:

Okay, but there's still one question that has been left unsolved since Sega-16 was formed.
... Has the Swedish android finally learned to love yet? Where is Mr. Smith when you need him??
