I just heard on the news that women in my age group make on average 8% more than men. If this the case why can't I get a free dinner from one of them when we go out?

Cause they got the poo-tang.
(That's probably the reason they make more than you do too.)
Nope, the reason for that is that they have greater educational attainment. US colleges are 57% female now, hadn't you heard?
And yet people still insist on lumping women in with blacks and other ethnic minorities as a "disadvantaged group," when clearly not all gender issues fit that profile. I wonder how much longer that narrative can continue to dominate our national discourse on gender the way it's done for the past 3-4 decades.
Most polls and studies reported on the news are also absolute crap.
I've seen this shit in the military too with medals and awards. I saw a girl get an Achievement Medal for acting in a video for sexual harassment, and while she did a good job acting... I think the medal was too much. This is a medal is worth one promotion point, and another piece of cloth on the uniform... and really not worth much in the grand scheme but still...points are points. But if this was a dude, they'd just get a certificate or letter of appreciation. And I've had to fight for the letters of appreciation's for the taskings I have done. Meh.
I saw a (rather obtuse) female a couple of years ago that had a Bronze Star at this detail where we had to wear full service uniform so I was able to tell, and I believe she was finance or some desk job - not dissing as my job is a desk job but I don't think I saw any expeditionary medals signifying a deployment. But yeah, I've seen lower ranking females with rather high decorations... But then again, the Bronze Star example is a weak one, sorry as this is a whole other issue not so related to gender.
I thought you were the back-door man?
Load up on the KY then.
