I for one would follow this man into the depths of hell.
Who wouldn't? And if TurboGrafx-16 makes him so damn happy, it'll make us commoners explode into tiny pieces with joy!
he looks like zack from saved by the bell
God I love that guy. It's my personal goal in life to meet him. Dead serious.
I just got an TV Tuner for my Turbo Express (thanks TZD) the other day. It's a nice little piece of equipment, especially for something made in 1990. I do believe NEC was ahead of the times in a lot of ways (maybe not graphics horse power) and the cost of this is what killed a lot of the 'Turbo Dream'.
I want Turbo Vision for my Turbo Express really bad! My oldest bro used to have a TV Tuner for Game Gear, but it got lost :( .
I like how you can plug a camcorder into the Turbo Vision thingy. It was great for field use back in the day when cameras only had black and white viewfinders and no LCD monitors. And ya gotta love the short AA battery life. I wish it were shorter, then it'd be perfect!
like the gamegear:DQuote:

Hucard V. Genesis Carts
Personally I feel that cart wise, I STILL would give the slight edge to Turbo. Only because nearly everything that was great about the Genesis, has been whored out to many other systems thanks to Sega.
There are only a handful of games that are still Genesis exclusive. Gunstar Heroes, Contra Hard Corps, Phantasy Star IV ,and Warriors of the Eternal Sun are some of my all time favorite stand-outs, that have yet to be apart of another one of Sega's quick-cash multi-game pack schemes.
Turbo CD(&SCD) V. Sega CD
No contest. I love my Sega Genesis CDX and the games I got, but man oh man, this is where Turbo truly peaked in quality of games. When the technology got better NEC/TTi went in that direction. They focused on the stronger hardware. Sega made two addons to the Genesis and still kept their focus on the Genesis 16-bit soft.
Overall, I would take the TG16/Cd/SCD trio over the Genesis/SegaCD/32X.
Allthough I truly love both!
Just for yuks and grins. - this is how I rate the worldwide 16-bit wars standings-(remember this is just personal opinion.)
