Game Sack

You aren't going to please everyone with video quality in the end, even if it might not exactly be perfect.

I mean - I get that you guys think that you're being constructive all the time and most of the time you probably are, and I also get that Joe was probably a bit over the top too, but I don't really blame him either. Sometimes y'all just need to chill a little - 10 pages of obsessing over such things is going to get on anyone's wick. I mean, most people who are in that position on YT don't normally interact at all with anyone (not for any particular reason except they don't have the time). The GS guys are usually pretty interactive and YT isn't a full-time job for them. It's great, but kind of a double-edged sword too - comments can just wear you down, even if they're not coming from a hostile place. I've had some pretty shit moments with it myself and I'm not even nearly at their level of popularity.

Ahh that is a shame Kimble! I watch your videos they've got that 90s style going on! It's the way you present them they remind me of GamesMaster and a few other channel 4 shows from back in the day. Great stuff! :D

Same goes for most people here I think.

I absolutely adored the GTA retrospectives.

He's brilliant, an absolute talent. I loved the Sensi Soccer Retro. Such detail, such passion.

Coincidentally, there's a lot of unconventional sports games from the DOS era...

Tons more Kunio games as well, but most never left Japan(still Nintendo World Cup, and Crash 'n the Boys Street Challenge, though).

Deathrow on the X-box, Road Rash, Skitchin', I'd say there's plenty of material for another episode, or 2, or 3.

Interesting idea for an episode, and like midnightrider says plenty more content out there to cover in future eps. It's worth pointing out in regards to Speedball 2 that there is a Japanese MD version as well, from what I've heard of it it sounds much better music-wise than the US one.

Both the European and Japanese versions are far more polished than the US one.
And both are still inferior compared to the Amiga and CD32 versions IMO.
The US Genesis release really isn't a good representation of what this game is.

There's also a remake/sequel for the PS1 called Speedball 2100, which is quite mediocre.

Pitball is pretty good IMO and has 4P support, Professional Underground League of Pain is decent and has 8P support; however, they're PS1 games so we'll likely never see them on Game Sack.

BattleSport (3DO/SAT/PS1) would have been expected IMO.

Brutal Football (AMI/CD32)/Brutal Sports Football (Jaguar)/Beastball (GEN) feels unpolished but it's a cool game IMO.

Since Arch Rivals was present, I think Hit the Ice (GEN/PCE/SNES) could also be included.

And WindJammers (Neo Geo MVS/AES/CD) is a must.


The only interesting/different choices in this episode IMO were Ballistix and Pigskin 621 A.D..

^Cosigned on both of those. BattleSport is great, at least on the 3DO, and Hit the Ice would make for a pretty amusing Genesis/SNES comparison (the SNES version is flickery trash, IIRC).

super dodgeball on the neo geo is damn fun

^Yeah, it gets a bit confusing though, because NEO-GEO games are also arcade games, and there's one similar to the NES/SNES games in the arcades, with the same name.

A lot of old AVGN videos we're recorded with a VHS, and nobody seemed to care then.

That Snooker video you made however may just be the most british video i've ever seen, it was fantastic.
