Do you know why he's going with YouTube over Twitch?
Because he has a ton of followers on YT. He has no one on Twitch yet, and not like you can send emails to YT subscribers saying you're streaming on Twitch. To be a Twitch streamer you also have to be more of a regular, and GameSack focus is more their YT show, streaming is just a side project. So this is the best way to go about it for Game Sack.
Otherwise yes, Twitch is way better for streaming. Distance between chat and video catch up seem much shorter to me too (takes forever to see streamers finally see you chat msg). Setup/Layout if also better on Twitch.
I'll say one thing done wrong on Game Sack stream, it's good to have chat box show up on stream for archive replay. Chat is a highlight of watching streams.
Another suggestion, though completely up to Joe, is maybe having chat window next to his game screen so he can see chat while gaming. This will get Joe used to multi-tasking gaming and chat at the same time, as some really love the interactivity aspect of streams. Some streamers also enjoy the higher interactivity themselves too, it's just a nice shooting the sh*t gaming environment for both the fans and streamer.
You're not really gaming if you're trying to read and game at the same time. I hear the same kind of BS from PC owners trying to defend have a 10 core processor so they can game, while watching youtube and rendering a video....just.... no!
Streaming and chatting with your viewers can be a great social event is what I'm saying. If you want to just game, great, just game. But if you want to entertain too, of course you'll be looking to into being a better entertainer.
Yeah, something like Skype could work, but then you would have a bunch of chatter and noise.
Guys like Metal Jesus and AVGN just play a game and make comments about the game while playing. That's what most people do. The reading comments thing wouldn't work, unless they did it between levels and load screens.
Guess you don't watch enough streams then. I know this Twitch streamer with about 200 viewers reading and replying to chat while speedrunning and having a hungry cat begging for food by walking all around his neck and getting in the way. So don't tell me it can't be done, gamevet. Multi-tasking is a thing.
Joe is streaming Ghouls 'n Ghost on Youtube right now.
I just flipped to it for a few minutes. He about lost it, when he saw that someone had donated $200 ARS. It turned out that it was from Argentina, which amounted to $12 US.
Well I seen the new episode and was surprised to find out there was a Twisted Metal for PS3. Very strange I haven't heard about this before.
Wonder if it's any good. Also missed out on the PS2 TM Black. Did get Head On for PSP but couldn't continue playing because the in game licensed music was so bad.
