Dave probably had about only 1/15th of the VO in the entire episode (live action sequences included), if that. People actually think afterburner is a good game? It's some cool mindless fun but all the home ports leave a lot to be desired except for the 32X and later versions.
Did you really expect a nintendo fan to like it? Dave is one of the few mindless nintendo drones that can still enjoy the best Sega has to offer, and that's already more than we can ask for.
Agreed 100% that there isn't much substance to the game itself but, that is the beauty of the game. It's almost a given that any SEGA fan will enjoy these simple arcade ports. Our systems are littered with High/Poor quality no frills ports from the Master System (Shinobi, Space Harrier) all the way to the Dreamcast (Crazy Taxi, Alien Front, Zombie Revenge, etc).Quote:
