Loved the ep. And the fake commercial at the beginning (and the ending as well) was hilarious.

I don't really get the skit at the end. It seemed really random.
The skit at the end isn't as complicated as you guys are making it out to be. It's not us as ourselves, it's just a skit we did in the year 2000. Dave plays someone who just bought a new Dreamcast and I play some asshole wanting to play it. Really, that's all there is to it. Nothing to "get". Maybe the Game Sack audience isn't ready for our ultra-cerebral skits. :)
I want to play video games and hang out with Joe and Dave. :(
I'm on vacation now. Time to check-out some of GameSack! :D
Kind of late to ask, but I've been looking into getting the GBA DKC games and I see the DKC1 port go for around $20 loose in stores. Why? Everyone and their brother says it's an inferior port, but you can get the SNES version for around $10. Did it get a small production run? The other two games don't seem to be quite as expensive. I'm not a big fan of DKC1 on the SNES, but I feel that it might work a lot better and just be more fun as a portable game since I love DK Land to death.
Suggestion for a future episode: Best and Worst Ports
Ditto on that.
By "ports" you mean arcade ports? Or ports in general?
I like that idea (a talkie about ports). It looks like a multi-part series, though. One could be a comparative analysis of 16-bit multi-platform games like Earthworm Jim, Boogerman, Clayfighter (soft dev in mind ;)), or the whole Strike series, etc. Mortal Kombat, for instance. I know you guys did the Street Fighter series in this fashion, as well as many a shmup. So what's stopping you ;).
