If they are that desperate to see this, I think people can find the torrent on their own.
I have this movie on DVD, its better than every game plot used since 1997.
That movie seems to be really good, no need for the torrent my good man, I can find it on my own.
As usual the music is awesome.
Reminds me a lot of Dragon Ball Z with the teleportation animations. Animation quality is good, too. The shots of that cloaked figure give it a certain dark aura that the games never had. I can imagine if the Sonic games continued to be 2D on the 32X and Saturn (not that mess that Knuckles Chaotix was, or that 3D nonsense that Sonic Extreme was shaping to be on the Saturn), it could have been something along the lines of this. One can only dream...
I disagree, though would possible agree if you said 2001 instead of 1997. :p (though I'd still probably agree that the plot line of the SatAM series -and probably the earlier comic installments- were better than any of those -not a big fan of the series, or rather I didn't grow up with it and have only watched a few complete episodes, but the writing seems pretty good -albeit a lot of 90s cartoons had that quality . . . AoSTH definitely didn't, but that's definitely one I'll chock up to Nostalgia :p)
Also, the english dub of the Sonic OVA is hilariously bad . . . the japanese voices weren't that good to begin with, but aren't quite as bad. (at least they sound moderately more fitting -I can't attest to the acting/directing since I don't understand Japanese, let alone the fine details of inflection in that language, so it's a bit of a guess -like how a lot of english speaking gamers tend to pan "crappy" dubs compared to the Japanese stuff when the japanese stuff is really no better -but you'd need to be a fluent Japanese speaker to fully realize that -even without that, the Japanese voice cast of Sonic Adventure seems about as bad as the English one, and the cutscene engine is just as screwed up -bad lip syncing, odd expressions, etc)
Is that the real DVD cover? It looks incredibly amateurish.
The DVD cover looks like it was made by the absolute best Amy wankers of Sonic Retro.
Even I could make a better DVD cover than that...
Sonic the Movie is alright. Certainly contemporary of the good old days. Though I feel the story is really odd... And the English voice actors could have been better.
Not only is the animation very poor, but the music makes me want to burn my ears off. It reminds me of the silly tv series that was around back in the day.
Why is Knuckes wearing a cowboy hat?

...'Amy wankers'?
(The accent of the guy voicing Sonic - Canadian?)
It's ok but the dub is extremely bad. Nothing special, really. I own it, but my DVD has a different cover, with just Sonic on it.
