I work on a PC all day and do Sega-16 stuff on it. The last thing I want to do is play my games on it too. That means sacrificing all the goodies the PC version gets, but them's the breaks. I also don't want to wait a year or two for this game to go down in price before I play it, but some do. Chances are I'll do like I did with Oblivion and FO3 and get the GOTY editions when they come out and play them again. :)
FNV was a buggy mess. The game locked up repeatedly, which is inexcusible, considering that it uses a 4 year-old engine and the same assets as FO3. It felt more to me like a really big expansion pack than a full game.
It also really didn't do anything more for the Fallout mythos than 3 did, despite having former BIS members. I liked the story, but it just wasn't as engaging. Las Vegas < Washington DC. The DLC has been leagues behind 3's so far as well. It's taken much longer to come out, and the 2 out there aren't close to the size 3's were. Hopefully there will be more coming.
